Platinum CF-3000 Brush Pen

The Platinum CF-3000 is a refillable brush pen built around a polyester ultra-fine fibre tip — a synthetic bristle that delivers the expressive line variation of a traditional brush with the consistent ink control of a pen. The tip is responsive to pressure and angle, tapering to hairline strokes at the lightest touch and opening up to bold, fluid marks when pressed more firmly. It is a tool that rewards deliberate use — well suited to calligraphy, lettering, illustration, and expressive mark-making.

The body is made from aluminium with a slim, clean profile and a push-on cap that also posts securely to the back for a balanced writing length. The cap's compression fit keeps the tip sealed and the ink from drying, which is important given the carbon pigment ink the pen ships with. That ink — Platinum's SPF-200 water-based pigment carbon ink — dries to a rich, permanent black that is water-resistant once dried and will not fade with heat or light exposure. It is the same archival-quality pigment ink used across Platinum's brush and fountain pen range.

The tip is replaceable and sold separately, and the pen takes Platinum's proprietary cartridges or a Platinum converter for use with bottled ink. One ink cartridge is included.
