Kaweco Piston Sport AL Fountain Pen, Navy - M (Medium)
The Kaweco Piston Sport AL is the most self-contained pen in the Sport family — a solid aluminium Sport body with a built-in piston filling mechanism that draws ink directly from the bottle, eliminating the need for cartridges or converters entirely. The Navy colourway pairs a deep, matte navy anodized finish with gold-plated accents throughout, giving it a polished, classic character that sits naturally alongside the pen's traditional filling system. It is a fitting combination: a filling method with roots going back to Kaweco's 1937 piston Sport, presented in one of the most enduring colour pairings in the pen world.
A blind cap at the end of the barrel unscrews to reveal the piston knob, and a large ink window in the barrel lets you monitor the ink level at a glance. A permanently integrated gold-toned clip is built into the cap — it can be removed by unscrewing the finial for those who prefer the clean Sport look. Note: the AL body is not suitable for prolonged ink contact on the exterior — wipe down any spills promptly. The pen arrives in Kaweco's signature round metal tin. This pen uses bottled ink only — no cartridges are compatible.
